Samples From Dealers To Customers
Sample management is a well-known pain point for manufacturers and dealers. The problem from a retail perspective is it can be hard to say no to a client that wants to spend £30,000 on a new kitchen who’s asked for a sample to take it home- even when you can be sure the next day someone else will come into the showroom wanting to see exactly the same door. So dealers either need to keep multiple sets of samples, expensive for the dealer, the manufacturer and requiring a lot of space, or they need the manufacturer to be able to dispatch at short notice- which can cause disproportionate problems for the manufacturers if material needs to be cut to size and edged just for the purpose.
Imagine if you could maintain a central sample depository, autonomously dispatching to dealers or their clients with next day delivery- only need to restock samples when a minimum stock level is reached.
So how does this work?
As a manufacturer you get notifications as to who has ordered what, with information on stock levels etc, so you can deliver to your nearest Amazon fulfilment centre to restock as required.
Online stores for accessories and small parts
We can build online stores using the same principles for accessories and small parts too. This could mean for example you could increase your attachment rates for such products, with the client paying retail price and you crediting the difference back to the retailer from where the sale originated- again all with delivery via Amazon Prime.
